The Group 1 All Aged Stakes will take place at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday April 27, 2013.
All Too Hardmay be having his final Australian race start in the 2013 All Aged Stakes before a possible European campaign.
While his big sister Black Caviar was just retired from racing altogether this afternoon, All Too Hard will not be retired until the spring carnival when he will begin his lucrative stud career.
All Too Hard has won six of his 11 race starts and has earned more than $2.04 million in prize money during his horse racing career.
Another horse who is set to start in the 2013 All Aged Stakes is old favourite Rangirangdoo.
Rangirangdoo will be having his first start for the autumn in the race and will be embarking on his final preparation before retirement.
His swansong will be in the Group 1 Doomben Cup in Brisbane in May.
“The timing is hard leading to the Doomben Cup,” trainer Chris Waller said.
“He has had three barrier trials and won one yesterday and we have decided to go the All Aged with a weight-for-age mile at Doomben on May the 12th before the Doomben Cup.”
Rangirangdoo has won 10 of his 32 race starts and has earned more than $2.2 million during his career.
More Joyous is also expected to feature in the 2013 All Aged Stakes field.
